quote of the day....

We were at the library this morning for storytime..which has become one of Mac's favorite things to do. Anyways, I was trying to get him to check out his books and follow me outside. He started playing with the metal bars that you lock bicycles to outside and I was kind of starting to lose my patience. I told him that it was time to go and that was his last warning. He looked up at me and started smiling. (this is one of his newest tricks).  I started walking toward him and as soon as I reached him he said "you are driving me crazy"! I about fell out there on the sidewalk...it was so funny. I was completely called out by a two year old....I guess I say that more often than I think!!!

Just a little update....it has been really cold outside lately so we have been playing inside A LOT. Yes, that is a picture of mac's house inside our house. Charlie informed me that there was no way that was coming inside, but when he saw the look on mac's face knowing it would be sitting outside and not being used, of course he caved in--Mac's house officially reduces the size of our house...if only it had a bed or kitchen it would be perfect:)

In the mornings mac usually asks me if we are going to "run run"..it has been a couple weeks since i have been able to take him in the mornings--way to cold for him. I guess he thought he should still go because he put on my ear warmers and gloves and was heading out the door. He definitely has Charlie's personality...some of the things that come out of his mouth are so funny. However he has some of mine too....loves to clean, loves schedules and loves to run errands!
