This morning we went to see Pop Pop's plane and Mac was ready and excited to go. We told him yesterday that he could see the plane today and believe me when I say that he doesn't forget anything! This trip to the plane was a bit different though-Mac got to ride in the plane. No-he didn't go flying but he taxied around a couple times. He sat on my lap as he and Pop Pop talked to each other on the headsets. He did great-even asked to do it again...the noise didn't bother him one bit. After we were finished, one of the airport workers came to give Mac his "wings" to celebrate his first time in the plane. It was such a fun surprise and as we were passing through the outside terminal all the workers had gathered and starting clapping for him. What a wonderful and exciting memory for all of us!
