Mac went to see his Pop Pop's plane for the first time this afternoon...I have to say, I am not sure who enjoyed it more..Mac or Pop Pop?? He sat in the plane and played with all the gear, watched planes come in and take off, walked around and saw all the big gas trucks and even got to help start the plane (that wasn't such a huge hit..maybe after a few more times he will warm up to all the noise)!
It was beautiful at PTI airport and I know that Mac loved being with Pop Pop and Mimi...yes..I know that you are wondering if Mac is going to take a ride in the plane? Let's just say that it may take a little bit before his mom is ready for that!!

I took this picture the other day of Mac while he was outside playing..when I came back in and was transferring them to the computer..I had to stop for a second and look at this one. For some reason this picture caught me off guard..maybe it is because the little man in the picture looks too big to be my sweet little baby, or maybe it was just a reality check of how big he is really getting. Whatever the reason..our little Mac is now a sweet, walking, talking, playing, adventurous, and fun-filled little boy...how did he get so big??
Last week Charlie was gone for a night so we stayed out at my parents house...Mac had a great time...helping Pop Pop bring in the trash, playing in drawers in Mimi's closet, getting yet another haircut, running around and showing us that he now can open doors....aahh!!
We had plenty of time to play outside this week..the weather was amazing. Mac is a little explorer and it is so much fun! We had a chance to go to the park with our good friends Kristin and Eli and the boys had a blast...covered in sand and dirt...we couldn't wait to stick them in the bathtub. We had a great week with family and friends and can't wait for this nice weather to stick around...
Sometimes I look at Mac and wonder where he gets his energetic, fun and fearless personality...hmmm??
Once we woke up this morning and saw that we actually got as much snow as they were calling for.. we got dressed and went out and played. As we were getting ready, I kept telling Mac "look at all the snow" he would point out the door and say "nos"??? We ventured out for a little while... the front yard wasn't too hard to manuever, but he could not even stand up in the backyard. In our driveway was a good bit of ice and I about took both of us out walking on it...I was telling him how slippery the ice was. The rest of the time he kept pointing to everything and saying "icccce and nos". What a fun way to start the day!!
