oh!! so yummy...

So tonight at dinner Charlie gave Mac half of a lemon to see what he would do...now Mac has tasted lemons before and like most other kids he makes horrible faces and then keeps going because everyone is laughing. Tonight was no exception...Charlie and I were basically crying because we were laughing so hard. Mac was loving the attention and kept this up for a good five minutes...until we had to stop because he literally started to take bites. Here is just a recap of how the lemon-tasting went:

just playing...

When we are inside playing, you can usually count on Mac to play with all of his cars, trucks and buses. This picture only represents some of the "vehicles" that he has...I love when I go to clean up and find a truck in a shoe or in my cabinet. He has found out where I have been hiding his tent and now he asks for it every morning...it was abnormally quiet in the living room earlier and I found him in the tent playing with his "kack-ker" (tractor). I opened the tent and he just started smiling and said "moyee now" -mommy down- and started patting the floor...how could I resist playing with him?!?!

He has become such a chatterbox and loves to make all kinds of silly faces -usually when he is in trouble.....

a hot mess....

If you ask Mac to make his "scary face" this is what he does. The other night at dinner we asked him to do this over and over and he would giggle everytime he would do it...

His favorite word this week is "off"...if anything is on: ex-lights, sound machine, lawn mower, tv, dishwasher, shower (you get the picture)..he just stands and says "off" over and over and over again. Most of the time we can turn off whatever it is, but today he asked to turn the wind "off"...hmmm??

We went and picked strawberries this morning with some friends...wish I had the camera for that one, actually I don't think I could have managed taking any pictures, it was hard enough to keep Mac from squishing all of them with his hands and then every few steps he would fall bottom first into the berries. What a mess...but we both had a great time..

My parents have been out of town for the past week and a half so they stopped by today to see Mackers..my mom couldn't stand it any longer-ha! Dad was pushing him in his car and taught him how to put his feet up and grab the wheel...could you tell that he was having a blast? Everyday is a new adventure around here....
